premier 6 unable to connect to capture driver
Hello
I just put my old copy of premier 6 on my new laptop with vista. I went threw all the normal setups but it tells me I cannot connect to the capture driver. But i CAN control the camera such as play fast forward etc. Any help would be great.
I tried a editing program that came withthe computer and that is capturing. I just really want to use my premier as I learned it in schoool and it is a bit better then a plain old basic program
comments tip etc welcome.

Hi Rachel,
A LOT of older software just doesn’t work with VISTA, that would be my first guess, as Premiere 6.0 is like…7 years old or better
Maybe you can pick up a copy of Premiere Elements cheap?
