Editing in house at an ad agency, and my station is updated to 12.1.1 (Build 10).

Working with ProRes 4444 3200×1800 files, and most of them import fine, but some random files keep coming in flipped horizontally, and rotated 90 degrees clockwise so they are displayed as 1800 x 3200. Other files, shot on the same roll, straight after are totally fine.

Files load fine into a separate station running 12.0.1 (Build 69), and play correctly in Quicktime.

I’ve tried deleting files, re-importing etc, but every time, its always the same ones that are messed up.

Anyone have any suggestions for how to fix this new “feature”?

    Thanks

I have the exact same issue. ProRes 4444 3200×1800 displaying wrong in Premiere Pro. Did you find any fixes?

I see similar issues with some footage as well but in my case they are all rotated 180 degrees. (smartphone footage, Samsung/Apple) Several different threads about this issue over at the Adobe official forum but i have not yet seen a resolution. It started to happen with the 12.1 upgrade.
