    Hi,
I’m new to video editing so please bare with me.

I’ve trying to create a short film where the sample of avi file imported is 50 fpm although the settings I’ve used for my DVD is PAL ie PAL 25 fpm.
When I try to view the sample film via the monitor screen it seems to jump and audio out of sink with video. Yet when I view film via input monitor all seem ok.
I’m using Windows 7 and Prem CS3 pro.
    Can you please help.

CS3 probably does not like your avi. What codec is inside?
Good chance you need to convert into something CS3 likes.

Download this program and analyse a clip. It tels you the codec.

    Hi
    thanks for the feedback.

THE file I’m trying to import is a AVCHD file, the file converter I downloaded doesn’t support this type of file.
    Any ideas?

    Many thanks
