prem. cs3 crashing during rendering.
cs3 was working fine until today, now when i try to render it just gives me
“prem pro has encountered an error etc”
There is no explanation to this at all, i’m trying right now to open the file in a new project and see if that works, next up is re-install if need be.
i have sufficient drive space for all my drives, someone mentioned something about changing compiler settings due to a memory issue? I have about 3 working gb of ram so not sure what this is about.
I might also add that I’m also receiving a “error compiling movie” as well before it crashes, as soon as i try to render again its guaranteed to crash….the project is a big one and i didn’t have problems trying to render a smaller project …..maybe if i delete some sequences it might help….??
any help would be appreciated.

it was the ‘shadow/highlight’ effect that was causing the crashing of premiere pro cs3, when i tried to render the clip with this effect thats when it would crash.

Thanks for reporting back.
It’s always instructive to try to re-create a problem in a new project. If you can’t reproduce the problem then you can start comparing the new project with the problem project to try to determine the problem.

Strange I just made a project full with shadow highlight effect. No problem at all.
