  Prelude – red Xcode to ProRes – where b my Red settings?

  I know, native workflow, yadda yadda yadda – but I’ve run some tests with CS6, and for our workflow, I’d rather pay the render tax up front and work in offline/online workflow for most jobs. We render and post work in progress almost every day for client review. Red to H264 takes quite a while, even on a 12-core Mac.

  Transcoding to 1080p ProRes LT for offline seems to speed up Export Media by 10:1. I’ll take that trade off and transcode to ProRes and reconform to Red at the online.

  Anyway – so I’m trying to use Prelude for ingest and transcode to PR-LT – I have my preset done in MedEncoder, but I’m not seeing any way to access the red camera source settings. Is it in-camera settings only? Really?
