Preferences … ?
this has happened to me before but i forget how i fixed it …
my media 100 windows don’t seem to be staying in their positions, and i have to reset my digitizing preferences every time i open a project. i assume i need to trash my preferences? could someone please remind me how to do that?

If you’re on a MAC, simply go the systems folder > preferences > media 100 and drag to the trash.
Then restart your machine.

i found it in:
LIBRARY / PREFERENCES / MEDIA 100 PREFERENCES
there are files there called “current configuration” and “media 100 codec preferences” as well as a few others.
which one is it?

Most likely the “current configuration”. You can move it to the desktop to try it (make sure that Media 100 is closed while moving the file). Also, try repairing permissions on your startup drive (with Apple DiskUtility).
