I know this has been brought up about a thousand times but for the life of me I couldn’t think of any clever search words that would find an answer.

So I have a very wide logo (made up of eight layers) that I am panning across the work space from top to bottom. I am trying to repeat it so there are 8 or so moving all at once. I set the motion keyframes for the movement and am now trying to pre-comp the eight moving layers so I can duplicate them and fill up the screen.

The trouble I’m having is the pre-comped logo is getting clipped right in the middle of the screen. I don’t really understand what the trouble is.

    Am I making this clear?

Have you tried the continue rasterize/collapse transformation button.

    additional note:

When I try and use the pre-comp in a 3D comp with a camera, the logo is clipped where the edge of the original composition would be.

Yeah that did it. I’ve never used that button before. Nuts.

    Thanks for the help.
