I’d like to know how to precomp a rig and throw some lighting on it (like for example, the creatures eyes are lit in the precomped and grouped to follow its head) but when I bring it into the main comp, the lighting exists when the collapse transformation is turned off, but is completely overshadowed by the main comp’s lighting

For example. If the main comp has on tiny light source, the lit precomp will inherit only the main comp’s lighting, so its glowing red eyes either look dull or hte rig is black.

If I decide to turn on the collapse trnasformation, I can see all the slices of my layers and nulls, but no light.

what could be going on? is there any way to properly precomp lighting that is shared by the main comp’s lighting?
