I am a new user to Sony Vegas. I will be doing a series of videos over the next month, and all of them require the same scrolling text at the bottom of the video. I have set up a generated media event that does the scrolling text as I like, but every time I render the video with the scrolling text, it takes a while to process. I am wondering if there’s a way to pre-render just that video track to use in future projects to save overall rendering time. Perhaps not, but I thought I’d ask. Hopefully I’m clear in what I’m trying to do.

I had the same issue only on an introduction. I highlighted that region of clips and did a “save as”. In my case I saved as an M2t file which is what the rest of my clips were. I believe Vegas still has to render it however but at least all the parts and information are there in one piece.

I’m not certain if this works with mts but it is worth a try. Put your text in its own veg and prerender that veg. Then, each time you need the text in your other projects just put the text veg in your timeline. If smart render works for mts, Vegas won’t need to render it again.
