pre-cut central 2sec of all clips and add to sequence
I have tons of clips and I want to use only 2 sec of each one in the timeline.
Then I ‘m going to search inside each one with Slip Tool to find the desired scenes
Is it possible ? -

Yes but it would be probably more efficient if you searched your two second clips in the source monitor from the original clips and added them to the sequence.

Clips all OK but they need trimming to discard the start/end because of motion due to button press.
How do I batch trim (crop?) them? -
Exactly, the clips need automatic trimming, they are over 1000.
I need something like “automate to sequence, with 5sec overlapping” so the usable clip in the timeline is trimmed in both ends
