pre composing in 3D space
Hi All
I’m working on a previz project of a mall layout and I’m doing in AE using PS panels to build basic 3D objects. I was expecting that I could precompose an object then move it around, but when I try I can only see one panel of my multi paneled object. Can anyone tell me if I can get around this problem.

Did you create the panels in a single Photoshop document?
Did you export that as a comp, not as footage?
Did you set each layer as a 3D layer in your comp? -

Enable the ‘collapse transformations’ switch on your pre-comp layer. It’s one of the layer switches and it looks like a sun with rays.
