    Hi guys,

Wondered if anyone can help me with a problem I’ve encountered while pre-comping.

I created some little characters then animated them and rendered it off. I then pre-comped these onto a background in after effects and this worked fine. I rendered a test off (the first link) and it looked ok so I carried on but then on my next render (second link) the characters stopped moving and just glide. when I open the project in after effets sometimes the characters move for a couple of frames then all just glide again. I have no idea why this is happening, the project and the pre comps all have the same frame rate. Any help would be great, thanks!

How are you controlling the animation of the characters’ legs, etc?

its just two seperate pictures which i put one at 100% opacity and the other at 0% then on the next frame swapped them around. I then rendered this off and put it over the background in a new comp and looped the footage then changed the scale and position to try and make it look like the are moving throughout the picture
