Pre-comp opacity issue
I have a pre-comp nested within my main working composition, it contains a couple of illustrator layers, some text layers and a few shape layers. When i change the opacity of the pre comp from 100% down to 0% the layers in the pre comp are still fading out individually rather than as one complete object. It was my understanding that once multiple layers were pre comped then they should work in this way.
Am i missing something?

Maybe you have the Collapse Transformations box enabled? It’s the little sun looking box on the same line where you would enable 3D, Motion Blur, etc.
