Just used an HVX 200 on a four day shoot featuring high end architecture.
The image is amazing. Also used a Century 7.5 wide angle adaptor. The lens by itself looked super clean, but the wide angle did not have the same sharpness. Keep the wide angle super clean, the slightest speck of dust will show. P2 Cards worked perfect using a Powerbook. One thing to watch for, do not eject cards prior to the camera completely turning off. I ejected one after I had powered down, but the camera must have still been on, because my last clip was corrupt. This corrupted clip caused FCP 5.1.1 to crash. I went back to my original, deleted the corrupted clip in camera , reimported to my MFX then imported from that drive onto a separate FCP external scratch drive.
Another hint, always slide the protection tab on prior to placing the P2 card into the Powerbook slot, and always trash the P2 icon prior to ejecting off the desktop. Kudos to Panasonic. This is a revolutionary camera.

One more thing: always disconnect the card on the PowerBook with the little icon in the menu bar too (after ejecting from the desktop) or your PowerBook might crash on rare occasions.

    Regards,

Yes, its great camera AND Yes, you need to be careful to unmount the cards as if they are hard drives from your computer. It seems to do the card no harm, the computer invariably crashes.
