Pr Pro CS6 on Mac – missing features?
Hi –
Are there fewer features on the Mac version of Premiere Pro CS6? In the tutorial I’m using, the instructor is working on a PC, and “Spin” appears as a 3D Motion effect along with several others that are not in my version. I have the Production Premium Suite. If these aren’t on Mac, is there a third party plug in anyone knows about that brings Mac up to the PC set? Some of the transitions are silly, but spin might be useful from time to time. -

It’s been a while but it’s quite possible. Premiere left the Mac for quite a few years so when they came back features trickled in slowly.

In CS6 there were a few effects that didn’t make it into the Mac version as I recall.
I don’t think it had much to do with features ‘trickling back’ so much as getting everything to work with GPUs on both systems…
