PPro v8.0 Syncing Settings Failed
Every time I try to sync my settings I get the ‘Syncing Failed’ dialogue box. I have tried restarting my computer, updating the CC app, signing out and signing in again to CC, syncing from another account and then clearing my settings from https://creative.adobe.com/appsettings which I don’t think I wanted to do because now I think my custom settings are gone forever.
So I have a few questions:
- Why is syncing my settings not working for me and how can I fix it?
- Since I cleared my settings for PPro from https://creative.adobe.com/appsettings is there any way to recover them?
- Since syncing is obviously not reliable how do I export/move my settings from one computer to the next via a thumb drive?
- Does PPro have a History for saved settings that I can use to revert to an old saved Settings of mine in case I accidentally upload setting rather than download them?
