PPRO Sync issues PC to Mac
Hey there, One of our editors is working in Premiere Pro CS4 on a PC and when he finishes cutting his sequence he then passes it along to me where i open it on a Mac to then author DVD’s. Aside from having to locate the media on the drive which isn’t an issue, the whole sequence is out of sync, and its weird because it is progressively out of sync, so for instance the first slip is maybe 1 frame out, and next is 2 frames out, by the end its about 10 seconds out of sync. Now the audio is the correct audio its just the video that slips, so I just slip it into sync, but its just a huge waste of time, anybody know what could be the cause of this, some missed option? The source footage is a quicktime with dv codec. Also I must note that when I take it back to the PC it was cut on everything is in sync just fine. That PC is not available most of the time so I need to figure out this issue so I can work on Mac. Thanks for your time and any input you have.
