  PPro startup fails for one user only

  Here we go again. Had this issue in Adobe CC 2013. It was a Prefs issue. This time, that approach is not working. It’s the same user as before. A smart user – they do not do “dumb computer things”.

  System is a Dell 7600, Win 7, Adobe CC 2014, 32GB RAM, K5000 card. Other users log in and work without difficulty. No recent installs of anything. No recent changes to anything.

  One user has Premiere Pro fail on startup. We never even get to the menu screen. Just a fail, and then the Windows shutdown options. This time the faulty module reported is dvaui.dll.

  Any thoughts? Starting with SHIFT+ALT, physically trashing the user prefs, etc., makes no difference at all. “Run as Administrator” does give access, but requires an admin login every time, which is not practical.
