Hello. I’m importing awesome 1080i footage from my JVC 700U into PPro and can’t get a good quality raw footage DVD out of it. The source footage looks great, from the timeline and output to DVD looks terrible. The computer is strong-quad core/12g ram. The project settings are XDCAMEX 60HQ. Any ideas?

CS4. I also just went to a previous wedding that I edited-great quality and tried to add a new clip to that timeline using the good project settings and it looked bad. It looks like an interlacing thing. Almost like shadowing effect or double vision!!

The default zoom factor for the Program window is “Fit” which can cause aberrations…change it to 100% to view actual pixels.
