I use the Warp Stabilizer a lot in Premiere Pro CS6. I render before I close at the end of the day and I get the green (rendered) line on top. Very often when I open the project again the stabilized clips will have the red line again. I render again, line turns green, close project and… when I open it again, the line is red again. The funny thing is this doesn’t happen with all clips I’ve stabilized. But those it does happens with, it does it every time (I have projects that I work on for months). Any ideas why some clips won’t stay rendered and how to prevent it?

Best way to prevent this is to simply export the stabilized clip as a self contained clip. We do this sometimes when we have a long edit. Just throw the clips into their own timeline, stabilize them, then export them as a self contained quicktime file so we never have to worry about rendering them again.

No clue as to what is triggering your specific clips from losing their render links. I’ve heard that from time to time, but I”m not sure we’ve actually seen that situation at our shop.
