PPro CS5.5 Intermittent Audio Playback
Audio playback in both the source window and timeline is intermittent. When it does playback, it’s often choppy. It takes 3-4 tries before audio plays correctly. This is beyond frustrating!
Reinstalling Kona drivers, rebooting and fixing permissions have not solved the problem.
System is a Mac Pro, Kona LH card (with new 9.0.6 drivers and Adobe plugin), Xeon procs and 16GB RAM.Ideas?

I am having the exact same problem. I’m on a PC with Windows 7, Realtek audio driver, 3GB of RAM, ATI Raedon HD 4200

Support at AJA came thru with a fix:
Set PPro CS5.5 Audio Hardware to “Built In” instead of AJA. Seems wrong but it worked like a charm. I hope it sticks.
