    Hi,

    Rather urgent problem here.

I am editing video from several sources, including a Sony HD handycam.

When I import the Sonycam ACVHD files into Premiere Pro CS4, and drag-&-drop them into the editing timeline, the video defaults to “Video 1” and the audio goes straight to “Audio 4.”

I uploaded the exported files as Windows Media file, and am now told that this is creating problems, that I need to switch audio streams.

It’s a bit beyond me knowing what this all means, but does that sound right?

Does it mean that I will now have to go back and unlink every single clip and manually move the audio from Audio 4 to Audio 1; or can I do that with a simple step?

Lastly, how can I set up Premiere defaults so that the ACHVD audio will dock intro Audio 1 stream?

    Many, many thanks.

    Urgently yours,
    Dave

The audio will be mono. Track 1-3 are stereo. By putting the file on the timeline a monotrack 4 is made.
I don’t see any problem to keep your sound on track 4.

    Good luck
