    Hi all,

From what I gather from my research up to this point, proxy editing in PPro CS3 is unsupported.

I’m looking at Raylight as an option and wondering if anyone has any insight.

I’m looking to pack and go – take a project from my suite to a client’s site via laptop, edit on site and bring the project back once the edit is done.

I’m running Premiere Pro CS3 with Matrox Axio hardware using P2 footage.

Have I overlooked any other options or would Raylight be the best solution?

Thanks in advance for any insight or advice!

Couldn’t you use the P2 native mode to edit on location, then come back and import the project into an Axio-specific project?

    Hi Tim,

Thanks for the reply. I’ve run some tests and it does seem that this would be the best way to handle things re: work flow. We initially had concerns about storage space on the laptop and working from external drives but have sorted things out.

    Thanks again for the advice!
