Ive captured about 14 tapes in native hdv into pro cs3. everything is fine except for one clip. every time I drag it into the source window
it plays erratically and in the very lower left hand corner of the workspace there is a blue bar stuck half way and it says “conforming tape 1.mpeg” it never changes no matter if I reboot or not. did i loose an accompanying file somewhere and it is searching?

Have you applied the CS3 updates?

    Cheers

My last suggestion is Deleting your MPEG index and conformed audio files. Sorry.

    Cheers

Sorry for the delayed response. Thanks Eddie. I found several folders with the MACC extension that pertain to my project and there are many
mpeg index files in them. However there are also many pek files and cfa files. Do you know if I should delete them as well or just pin point the old mpeg index files?

    Thanks again
    Scott
