I’m new to Premiere. I understand when you change soemthing in photo shop it updates to premiere but I’m looking for tips on something. I edit commercials and I do a small chunk at a time. So I move between photo shop and premiere all day long. What I’m finding is as I move back to photoshop and add a layer it messes up the photo shops I’m using in premiere. Does someone have a tip for how they go move between these programs without messing up thier sequence?

Once a PSD is imported, it is not easy to deal with changes. That is really a task for After Effects.

Would saving your Photoshop changes to a different name (than the one in Premiere) solve the problem? Then if you want your latest change to be effective in Premiere, just save (Save As) it under the name in Premiere.
