  PPCS6 Extreme slow down while working with bins ect

  I tried to search for an answer but found no solution…

  I’m working on a iMac, late2013 3.5Ghz i7 with 32 GB ram, osx 10.8.
  PremierePro cs6

  I’m working a large project, prproj -file is almost 1,5 GB, with plenty of footage (xdcam, prores -video, music, ect) and sequences.
  Not sure if the size of the project is the fault but every time I do something like…

  – duplicate,
  – move an item from a bin to bin
  or create a new sequence in project window

  the program hangs totally. Beach ball for almost a half hour. Can’t get anything done while waiting…

  Does anyone have a solution for this ? And to sugestion to upgrade, at this moment – can’t do. Neither osx and ’cause of that PremierePro. So any other possibly ?
