I have been editing a short using material shot on the Canon C300 and transcoded to ProRes 422(HQ). The ProRes files are perfect quality when viewed through Quicktime, but when imported into PP they loose quality (pixilation and aliasing). I have everything in PP set to the best quality. I wondered if this was just the monitoring of the material through PP and when exported, the original quality would still be there. But that appears not to be the case. I have tried exporting as an uncompressed 10 bit Quicktime, but the quality has degraded.

I know I must be missing something basic here. Please tell me what it is!

What are the sequence settings you’re using vs the video settings? (frame pixel dimensions, etc.)
