I know Premiere Pro CS6 allows you to change the default trim duration, but is it not possible to change the default move duration from 5 frames to something else?

For example, I’d like the freedom to be able to move my clips in 6 frame increments as that’s a 1/4 of a second in my 24fps timeline.

In FCP my preset nudge was 5 and 10 frames. Have not looked into changing it in Premiere and I have gotten accustomed to the 1 & 5 frame moves. If I need to move a selected clip a specific number of frames like 6 or 12, on a numeric keyboard I would type + (plus) or – (minus) and the number of frames I want the clip to move.
    Hope that helps,

No, you cannot change a default value here. In your case, you’d have to nudge 5 and then 1. not too difficult as there are already keyboard shortcuts for both, but I get where you’re coming from. Try this: Feature Request Form
