i’m re-rendering a 40 minute documentary after some last minute edits.
i’ve rendered it out at least three times with no issues.

however, after the final edits (all minor that are either text or trims), i now cannot get the file to render.

the files contained within are all avchd (mts) or jpegs.
I am using a few misfire fx but have not had issues prior.

i’ve tried queuing up to encoder and exporting straight out of pp.
(the render via pp kicks power usage up to 10,000,000k.)

i’ve tried several different formats and the errors i’m getting are all unspecified.

additionally, the renders are all crapping out at different times.

i did notice that my computer was bogging down terribly. so i checked task manager.
    CPU usage is at 100%.
memory at at 6,980,000k and is peaking up to over 8.

when i first noticed that, i rebooted windows.

i’m using a nvidia gtx 570 that has previously sliced through big files like a hot knife through butter.

the files is in three parts. i can render each individually but i need to deliver it in one piece.

    any ideas?

Don’t have an answer but curious if you tried the usual tricks: trash Pr settings, new project file (same sequences), fresh user ID on the same system.

Also, when you render parts individually, does the memory usage balloon like that as well?
