PP CS4 (PC); Storing a clip in multiple bins
Hail all.
This is a very basic question from a guy that’s brand new to the program.
I’d like to store a clip in multiple bins within the same project.
For example, I have a clip that I’d like to put in a bin called “Budapest Sequence”. But I’d also like the clip to be in my “cut-aways” bin so I can find it later in case I need to use it in another scene.
Is there a way to copy a clip from one bin to another?

I think you should could
right click on a clip in the project panel and choose duplicate, then drag the duplicate to whatever bin you want
however, note that in the project panel if you have given the clip a memorable name, you can use the FIND BOX (located near the top of the project panel)
just start typing the name of the clip and it will be instantly exposed to you regardless of whatever bin it happens to be in. Sort of like sifting.
so you don’t really need to make multiple copies of the clip for ease of access. But whatever you’re comfortable with.
