PP CS3 opening PP 2 projects
Hi-
I was wondering of anyone else has had this experience. I installed PP CS3 last night and opened a project I’d been working on in PP2 and it opened with all the files in the project bin – but the timeline was completley empty, GONE! – is there a trick to making this work? Or is this an undocumented feature? LOL

Look in your project bin(s) and see if there’s a “Sequence” hiding somewhere. If so, double-click on it and see if that opens your missing timeline. Please post the results as I am considering upgrading and bringing a PPro v2 project into it.

Double click the appropriate Sequence icon in the Project window to open it and the timeline.

I just got home and tried it – double clicked on the sequence and it worked fine. Thank you so much for the info. I’m very pleased with CS3 so far and very glad I got the upgrade.
