  PP CC 2014: Entering numeric value for track keyframes

  How do you enter an exact numeric value for track keyframes? I am only able to enter numeric values in the track mixer for the overall volume before I’ve added any keyframes – once added, the track mixer doesn’t have any effect. I’m not interested in using the automation modes to accomplish this. Thanks.
