I recently switched to PP CC 2014 from FCP7 and am suddenly having a strange audio problem. 2 projects I’m working on are having the same issue. The audio will all of the sudden stop working. No levels appear in the audio meters. I’ve been able to re boot PP and the audio would come back on, but now on one of the projects, I’ve re booted several times and it still has no volume and shows no signal. I just tried project 2 and it had no audio, I re booted, and it played, then re booted again and no audio. Project 1 has had no audio today after re booting about 5 times. I’ve been working with PP for a couple of weeks with no problems at all.

    Any suggestions?

This is happening to us as well Lee. My editor has been working on one project in Premiere CC for the past week. Every time she reopens it the audio is either completely missing (flatlined) or only coming out of one channel.

Adobe CC support suggested she a) create a new sequence and copy / paste her timeline into it. (for issues with audio coming out of only one channel) and b) import her entire project into After Effects and re-export it to Premiere for the issue of audio completely flatlining. This works but loses all of her keyframes on the audio timeline and bumps the timing off as well.

Ridiculous. Does anyone have any idea in terms of what is going on here?
