Most powerpoints today have a lot of movement which makes a transfer more complex.

I assumed he was referring to stills since he mentioned “slideshow” and the Shift/printscreen method I mentioned does work very well.
For the purpose of capturing powerpoint animation and builds I recently purchased Presentersoft PowerVideoMaker.

I’ve only used it once but recall it performed very well. It might be the ticket.
