Powerpoint to FCP – whites?
I have a Powerpoint slide show to put into FCP. It consists of black text (0,0,0) and a white background (255,255,255) with graphics of various colors.
My major concern is the black text and white background. I can probably do a project wide background change in the Powerpoint, but my question is, what would be the optimum background and text color to still get the effect the client is looking for?
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance….

Whites should come down to at least 245 if not less. Place the Broadcast Safe Filter on it or use the Color Correction Filter and pull down the highlights to 240.

Personally, I set my whites in PS at 235, 235, 235, or 92%. If the graphics are already a done deal, then I use either the 3 Way CC or the Proc Amp to legalize them. But that’s just me, YMMV.
