    Cheers,

I just installed an ATEM Television Studio switcher and I haven’t found anything in the manual on how to power it off besides cutting power. I have it mounted in a rack connected to a power condition that I have been shutting off when I’m done but I just want to double check that this is the correct way to shut it down.

    Thanks

There is no on/off switch. If you want to turn it off, then as you’ve found, just cut the power.

Thanks Justin. I haven’t used many devices that shutdown this way and didn’t want to ruin a new piece of gear.

This is an old post, so does this also apply to the newer ATEM TV Studio Pro HD unit (and I assume the 4K version)?
At the moment, I leave the desk running all the time, but would prefer not to, as it is sucking in more dust than I’d like!
