PowerBook G4 + AVC100?
Hey,
Shooting P2 footage on an HPX370P. Transfers are going alright (at the Finder level).
We got a PowerBook G4 (v10.4.11 800MHz PowerPC 1GB SDRAM) for field transfers (thanks, PCMCIA slot).
How can we view the footage?
HDLog and P2Log require Intel Processors. I found an old version of P2CMS (v1.4.4), which opens and registers the clips, but when I open them I get only audio playback with black video. Tried the AVCintra for Mac converter, but it doesn’t seem to have any effect (I installed it and restarted the computer, therefore P2CMS as well).
How can I see my footage? Even a low-res playback would be fine.

OK…firing up my Powerbook G4. Grabbing a P2 card with AVCIntra footage on it. Launching FCP 6…
Nope…AVCIntra is unsupported on PowerPC. You need an intel to deal with this format…even to view it.
