  power converter/carnet

  Hi there –

  Will be shooting in Rwanda and am curious about power converters [electricity there is 230V 50Hz]. Many of the converters I’ve done research on have bad reviews, usually ‘it blew a fuse upon first use’ type stories. Does anyone have any recommendations for a specific converter, or at least specific things I should look for? First time shooting abroad.

  [also, if anyone has opinions on carnets – to get or not to get, love to hear them – will have a Panasonic DVX100 and a consumer miniDV camera….]
