    Hi everyone!

I have found many many answers to questions on Creative Cow forums, but not this time.
Can someone tell me how to make a “power button” in C4D???
“Capsule” seems like a perfect choice to do it, but I don’t know how to curve it. I need it for a logo, and I’ll use it as letter “e”.
Actually I need the sign on from the button and not the button itself.
    Thank you!!!

This is what I mean: https://barack.acc.hu/

I would use a bend or a wrap deformer. Just make the capsule longer and use lots of height segments.

    Thanks Brian!

Could you give me more details ’cause I’m a biginner in C4D.
    What “height segments” exactly means?
    Thanks!!!

Are you just trying to curve the edges over? If so use your a cylander with the fillet cap option.

Here are a few options to do this.

    hope this helps.

If you add a Capsule (or anything really) and it’s selected it’s properties (it’s attributes) are shown in the Attribute Manager on the lower-left of the C4D interface. There you will find the capsule has for tabs of info Basic, Coordinates, Object and Slice in the Object tab (selected by default) you will find Height Segments amongst others. It controls how many divisions the capsule has along it’s length. Play with all the settings, there’s no substitute for experimenting. Check out this example of the capsule as a Power Button. Done fast with rudimentary textures.
