    Hi folks.

In the not too distant future, I’ll be doing a shoot with Sony’s FS700. I’m really stoked to be able to finally have the chance to try out the Smooth Slow Rec function at a sports shoot: I have used it before, on an NX5, and ended up using nowhere near enough of the footage that I wanted, due to the huge drop in quality.

I’m hoping that the FS700 will have a more refined SSR function, but I’m still expecting a drop in quality. Any indicators on how noticeable it will be and the steps I should take to get the best out of the function?

Also, is the function available in the flat image form? I’d like to mess around with DaVinci Resolve.

    Thanks!
