Possible Mask Bug?
I’ve been trying to use the ‘Mask’ effects that are meant to be in the Pan/Crop menu, but do not have the option of ticking ‘mask’ underneath properties. I looked for help on this already, but every issue seems to be related to the user not having Pro. The Movie Studio I have is the ‘Platinum Pro Pack’.
Have I done something wrong with the registration perhaps? Or does the ‘Platinum Pro Pack’ not come with these features? Please help!

It must be a Pro thing, at least where it is, mask is right under position on mine. have you opened the help file for yours and search for mask? hard to believe it wouldn’t have it somewhere. Danny Hays

It is extremely unfortunate that when Sony finally distinguished the product name of Vegas Movie Studio from Vegas Pro, that their marketing team came out with the “pro pak” for Movie Studio Platinum which has nothing to do with the Pro version AND has nothing to do with Movie Studio Platinum! It’s the same exact regular Movie Studio Platinum product and the “pro pak” is just some extra programs they throw into the deal.
You have Movie Studio Platinum which does have masking like Vegas Pro does.
