  Possible Mac Virus/or not

  Hey all,,
  Weird wacky stuff on my CPUs part yesterday..
  Returned yesterday from the weekend, to find my Mac all messed up..
  1 the firewire ports were not reading anything.
  2 Certain software including Safari would not open
  3 Internal and external drives were not stable..

  I reinstalled OS, firewire back up,Safari up, and FCP is reading the deck but not capturing..
  Now the only program thats not working is Compressor, I reinstalled it in a custom install but still dosent want to open..Not sure if I need to reinstall everything from the FCP package..Anyways just want to post this incase anyone else gets some funk stuff this week..
  Might just be Apple trying to tell me I need to buy Tiger..
