  • Positioning a layer in the Prgram Window

So I have 3 or 4 layers of video/grfx in the sequence and I want to grab one of the (not the top layer – AKA Video Track 4) layers in the program window to move /adjust /position – I can’t grab anything but the top most layer – it’s so time consuming to go to motion tab and change numerically, I just want to grab it and move it.
    Am I missing something?

Select clip on timeline, go to effect controls and hit the transform icon (top left corner) or the word Motion next to it.
The top bar gets highlighted and also the bounding box in the Program monitor appears. Now you can move the clip around.
