    Hello!

I am finding portrait stills a real pain to work with (but sometimes necessary) in Vegas 6. I can resize to fill the frame, but obviously much of the background, peripheral details etc of the picture get lost as the image gets larger. If I just leave the still “as is”, there is all that black in the background.

Do you just put a nice background behind the still if it doesn’t fill the frame, or is there another way of retaining the detail?

    Many thanks for any suggestions!

I usually go ahead and zoom in. However, I also PAN the image to show multiple parts of the image – just not all at once.
