Portrait image on a cloner-turbulent face
hey everybody, I’m trying to do this effect where I model’s face is put onto a bunch of cubes in a cloner object. I wanted to do a cool distortion effect by moving a turbulence effector with a spherical falloff that I could move around.
But I need to figure out a way to lay this video image of person onto surface as one image and not on the individual cloned cubes. does this make sense?
I’m trying to get the effect of the two stills (red and green) on a singular image of the woman but don’t know if there’s a way to get that effect on a single plane, object, surface?

GSG used to have a tutorial for sticking a texture to dynamic clones, but I think they moved it behind their shiny new paywall. 🙁
