I’m shooting a documentary for which we are doing a lot of interviews on the road. I need a soft daylight balanced light I can fit in a suitcase. Our other interviews have been lit with kino flows, but those won’t fit in my airplane bags. We have the budget to get new lights, but I want to make sure what we get will work for flying from city to city. Just needs to be soft, daylight balanced, and able to fit in a suitcase. Suggestions?

Try the ARRI Locaster LED kit of two lights; very compact, very bright and adjustable from 2800-7000K.

Yaa the Arri Locaster is super in CRI and the 2800-7000K is very good. I use kino flo for much for my work and I have been looking for some LED easy on the move lamps. I did try the ARRI locaster and I love it. But the light output is a long way from a kinoflo. So if you need a high light output the locatser is not the one for you. But Locaster is 100% the best LED lamp i have used to this day..
