I’ve done a cursory search in google and on what production supply sites I know but I haven’t found anything like this.

Does anyone know of a solution that satisfies this need? I’m just looking for a portable (not so large) On-Air light that can run on batteries. Something I could temporarily stick to a wall when we’ve setup an on location studio, using something like Command Strips.

If there’s not something commercially ready, do you have any ideas about a home made solution?

    Pretty simple DYI thing.

If you want something that looks really professional, Markertek has plastic pre-screened ON AIR covers starting around $70.

Or just buy a large “project box” that has a translucent panel. Then just get stick on letters.

As to lighting it up, there are a zillion cheap battery powered LED source you could tape inside.

Wire a switch and you’re good to go.

    My 2 cents.
