    Hello Blackmagic-Team!
After installation Premiere 2.0 Tryout and the new BM 5.4 Driver for testing, i am

unable to start the capture-mode( shorcut F5)
    A window appears:

” Port Error.Check that selected port ist available or not in use by another prozess”
After that Premiere has to terminated with taskmanager. (Unable to close the

    capture-mode)

There is a DIGIBETA Player connected to Decklink Serial Port( Sony DVW-A510P),

PAL-Resolution . Do you have tested your new driver with ” Pal-Machines”? I remember:

There was a some Problems in the past with Decklink Extreme and

Pal-Digibetas-Machines( wrong Frame-offset during capture and so on…)
    Thanks a lot for help
    Oli

    I forgot:
In Premiere 1.5 the new Driver ( 5.4) works fine!
    ( no ” Port Error”)

I’ve noticed with Premiere 2.0 (unlike 1.51) we have to set it to use com 3 for 422 in order to use the decklink card. I guess there are 2 com ports already on the motherboard.

    Hi Shane !

the two serial ports are disabled in the BIOS-Setup because i do not need them.
    (Mainboarde Asus A8N-SLI Premium )
Today will try again to capture again in PPro 2.0 with ” enabled” serial ports in Bios.
