Hey I am new to this fourm so i am hoping someone can help me.

Basically, on my old PC (Windows XP) i had Vegas 7.0a and everything worked brilliantly, no problems. Now on my new PC (Vista) I had to get the 7.0e version so it would install and everything works fine the same until when I view the finished video after rendering.
The qualtiy is just poor and … (distorted?) don’t think thats the best word to describe it but it just comes out patchy and weird.
I download the pro version 8 trial to see if it done the same on that and it did so that tells me its something to do with my pc. I really don’t know so I am open to any suggestions becuase not an expert.

    My System
    Windows Vista Home Prem
    Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E4400 @ 2.00GHz
    2.00GB RAM
    ATI Radeon HD 2400 PRO

Please help anyone. Tell me its something so simple and obvious hehe

Check again your encoding settings. Yes, Vegas8 is more ready for Vista than Vegas7…However, Vista is still needs improvement (Vista requires the fastest latest hardware max RAM, or else as you know it’ll also be slow aside from that encoding problem). If after others’ advice and the problem persists, just re-install Windows XP sp2 on new PC.

    [And still kick’n!]
