Poor quality DVD using Compressor
Hi
Apologies if you have seen this before-I just can’t see anything exactly like this.I am producing a 90 min DVD for a client.
The sequence is HD- I have used the QuickTime converter to compress it to SD. I then bring it into compressor and use the highest quality settings I can in frame control- I know this increases the processing time. I have been playing about with this for days but I’m running out of time now.The problem I have is that the graphics are very fuzzy around the edges when I play it on my tv. I know that the quality won’t be as good as on a computer but it is not acceptable for the client. Some of the footage is not as sharp as I would like, but it is the graphics which are a concern. These are simple lower thirds with simple texts- just fades up, not complex animation.
I really need some suggestions about how I can make this DVD the highest quality I possibly can.
Any suggestions would be SO welcome. Many thanks
Aliya
